Frequently asked questions
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Reception is open daily from 06:30 to 22:00. If you arrive outside those hours, use online check-in — every reservation gets a unique secure link by email or SMS where you enter the required details in advance. A tablet for self-service check-in is also available at reception.
I arrive late in the evening, after a concert or a match. Can I still get in?
Yes. Reception is staffed until 22:00, but online check-in works around the clock. Complete it before you arrive using the link sent to you by email or SMS. If you do not have the link or something does not work, call reception on +421 2 491 096 00.
Can I stay in the room past 11:00?
Yes, late check-out is available for a fee and subject to availability. Until 13:00 it costs €20, until 15:00 it costs €30. Arrange it at reception.
Is parking included in the room rate?
No. For overnight guests, parking on the hotel site costs €20 per 24 hours and is not automatically part of the room rate. Some rates include it — you choose when you book. The lower rate of €1 per hour or €10 per day applies to conference and event attendees only, not to overnight guests. Street parking around the hotel is also chargeable under the city parking scheme.
Is breakfast included?
It depends on the rate you choose. We offer both room-only and bed-and-breakfast rates; what is included is shown when you select your rate in the booking form.
How far is the hotel from the sports venues?
The National Tennis Centre is directly connected to the hotel. The Tehelné pole National Football Stadium is 2 minutes on foot, the Ondrej Nepela Ice Arena (Tipos Aréna) 2 – 3 minutes, and the Gopass Arena 7 minutes.
Which rooms cannot be booked through online travel agents?
The Studio with Balcony and the Deluxe Double Room with Terrace are not listed on booking portals such as Booking.com. You can book them online directly on hotelset.sk, or by phone on +421 2 491 096 00, or by email at recepcia@hotelset.sk.
How much does it cost to hire a conference room?
Hire costs from €250 per day excluding VAT, including screen, flipchart, projector and Wi-Fi. We have four halls seating between 25 and 70 people. The price is negotiable when booked together with accommodation.
